One Nucleus

Objectives

Established in 1997, and formerly known as ERBI (The Eastern Region Biotech Initiative), One Nucleus is a not-for-profit, membership organisation located in Cambridge and London – the centres of Europe’s leading life science and healthcare cluster.It has more than 470 members include pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and diagnostic companies and associated technical and commercial service providers. In 2010 ERBI briefed KISS to develop a new brand platform for the organisation which would allow them to expand outside the eastern region – both nationally and internationally, positioning themselves as the top European life science and healthcare network.

Activities

A new vibrant, dynamic and modern brand was created to replace ERBI and re-position it as an international player in its field. In order to achieve this with buy-in from key stakeholders, KISS facilitated workshops, brainstorms and interviews with staff and research amongst stakeholders and members of the ERBI Board. Following an articulation of the organisation’s vision and proposition, KISS managed the process of developing a new brand name for the organisation. The name, One Nucleus, received a unanimous seal of approval from all those involved. Next, KISS developed a full brand identity and marketing collateral to support a broad range of activities including conferences and events.

Results
